Janet was a summer associate at the firm in 2018. While in law school, she was a teaching assistant for Professor Schrier's Legal Skills & Values I and a judicial intern for Chief Judge Leslie Rothenberg, Third District Court of Appeal in Miami.
Janet earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, summa cum laude, and her Bachelor of Arts in psychology, summa cum laude, from Florida International University. Janet earned her law degree, magna cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law where she was on Moot Court - FIU Law Board of Appellate Advocates. Janet also earned the Best Orator award in the Intramural Appellate Advocacy Competition, and four awards during her participation in Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court 2018 and 2019. She is fluent in Spanish.
