Nonye is an associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.
Nonye received her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and her Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from the George Washington University.
While at George Washington University Law School, Nonye served as a senior staff member of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal. In her final year at George Washington Law School, Nonye was a student attorney with the Jacob Burns Community Legal Clinics’ Small Business & Community Economic Development Clinic where she provided legal assistance to small businesses, social enterprises, and nonprofit corporations and represented clients seeking formation, regulatory compliance, and advise on basic intellectual property issues, tax matters, and related legal issues.
Prior to being a summer associate and ultimately joining the firm, Nonye worked as a legal intern for the National Center on Protection Orders for Full Faith & Credit and spent one year as a legal intern at a franchise and trademark law firm. Before law school, Nonye was a legal intern for the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. Additionally, Nonye served as the manager of a retail outlet location where she managed the business operations of the storefront.
